New Local Climate/EJ Threat: Export of Wood Pellets to Burn for Energy

After our great victory in stopping coal shipment from the Levin Terminal in Richmond, there’s a new plan to export a fuel with even worse climate/environmental impacts: wood pellets to burn as “biomass.” This is a fake climate “solution” based on the claim that wood is “renewable energy” because growing trees absorb carbon dioxide.
